PictureMark Huffman
Rev. Dr. Mark D. Huffman, Executive Director of Interserve USA
Mark is a seasoned leader with a deep background in both the business and non-profit sectors. Born and raised in a Christian home in Minnesota, USA, he met his wife, Kim, during their university years. Over the next three decades, Mark served in various leadership roles in both the business and non-profit sectors. From starting a successful IT consulting firm and church planting in the 1990s, to serving in Ukraine for over ten years, teaching English, training cross-cultural workers, and founding two churches, to now leading Interserve USA, a 173-year-old, multinational missions agency operating in 30 countries, Mark has served at many levels of leadership in many different cultures.
Mark has a great passion for focusing on the Great Commission, which means raising, preparing, and sending more workers to the hard places where the needs are the greatest and where Jesus is not known. Mark travels frequently, serves as a United Nations Chaplain, advises and speaks on strategy, team building, and leadership development in both the business and non-profit sectors.
