Randy and Deanna Harrison, keynote speakers (Weds Feb 17, 7 p.m.; Friday Feb 19, 7 p.m., Sunday Feb 21, 10 a.m.)
Randy and Deanna are true missions veterans, having served more than 30 years on the field. Starting with several years in Zaire (now Congo), the Harrisons were forced to flee that nation due to civil war. Following their initial time in central Africa, the Harrisons missions service has taken them to pastor two different churches in France for about a dozen years, as well as to Burkina Faso in West Africa. Randy has an earned doctorate in theology, and currently teaches at West Africa Alliance Seminary in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. During the 2009-10 school year, the Harrisons have served as international workers in residence at Simpson University in Redding, California. Deanna works closely with the local church and various ministries in Africa, and serves as a regional educational consultant for the Christian and Missionary Alliance in West Africa. The Harrisons have been TCF missionaries since their first term on the field, and have three children, Daniel (married to Kim), Christy (married to Peter Sensing) and Rachel (a sophomore at Simpson Univ).
