TCF offers a wide variety of ministries, serving local needs for the fellowship and the church neighborhood, as well as internationally.

Children's Ministries

Bible Bowl
Sunday nights in September and October, as well as January and February, TCF offers Bible Bowl, a scripture memory program for children 4 years old through 4th grade. Games, prizes and fun for boys and girls from


FASTRAC
An acronym for Fifth and Sixth Team Reaching After Christ, FASTRAC provides a transition between the children of Bible Bowl age and the youth of BASIC. Bible study and lessons, games, snacks and fun give these youth a taste of youth group in September/October and January/February.

Infant
Nursery staffed by volunteers

Toddler
Nursery staffed by volunteers, also offering Baby Bible Class to prepare children for classes.

Pre-School
Children's church class begins for K4 (4 year olds).

K-6 Classes (Children's church)
Currently grouped in grades K4-5, 1-2, then a larger 3-6th grade class, classes offering Bible instruction to children, who remain in the service through worship, and are then dismissed for classes.

Community Outreach

International Community Outreach
An extension of TCF's international missions vision, TCF participates in a network of churches which relate to international university students in
Tulsa. TCFers are friendship families, building relationships with international students and helping with practical needs. The director of International Community Outreach offices at TCF. Contact the church or email ICO directly to find out how to get involved.

Tutoring - Kid's Hope
TCF has "adopted" Kendall-Whittier Elementary School and sends more than a dozen members into the school weekly for one-on-one tutoring with elementary-age students. Kids Hope, affiliated with the national Kids Hope USA also has special events, including meals, picnics, puppet shows and other things during the course of the year, where tutored children and their families interact with tutors. POPS - Puppets of Praise Outreach Team
TCF's puppet outreach team, Puppets of Praise, ministers in local and regional venues such as evangelistic meetings, youth shelters, nursing homes, churches and other places. The team ministered outside the U.S. when it traveled with a TCF church group to Honduras in August, 2001. Part of the team returned to Honduras again in 2003 for ministry (see the Honduras 2003 page), and for training the local church there in puppet and drama ministry. The award-winning team is comprised of youth ages 7th grade and up, and was the invited special featured performer at an international festival in Illinois in 2004.

Good News Club
An after school Bible club, in conjunction with Child Evangelism Fellowship, Good News Club meets Friday afternoons during the school year at Kendall Whittier School, the public elementary school which serves the TCF neighborhood. As many as 80 children attend the weekly event.

Mobile Medical Van - Free Health Clinic
On Monday nights, the Good Samaritan Health Services (GSHS) mobile medical van is hosted by TCF. Acute primary care evaluation, treatment and followup is available for families without medical insurance.

Other services include health screening, patient education, and consultation and referral for problems beyond the scope of the mobile medical clinic.

The GSHS med van is a ministry of Tulsa Cornerstone Assistance Network and In His Image/Family Medical Care in
Tulsa.

Except on holidays, the medical services are available Monday nights from
at TCF. Link to Cornerstone's or GSHS's site above for other med van locations through the week.

Christian Education Ministries

New Member Classes
Offered periodically, once or twice a year, as needed. An eight week course allowing potential new members to know "what they're signing up for" - including a history of TCF, an overview of New Testament church leadership, missions, house churches, etc. 9:00 a.m. Sundays when offered.

Sunday Night Seminars
TCF Sunday night seminars run concurrent with childrens' and youth activities on Sundays in September and October, and again in January and February, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Seminars cover varied topics, including past sessions such as marriage , Understanding Your Bible, the Book of Romans, the "Foundations" series (a look at the basics of discipleship and faith), World Missions, the book of Isaiah, the Life of Christ, personal finances, Christian worldview, and world religions.

Small Group Ministries

TCF House Churches
TCF's house churches meet in various locations around the city, mostly on Wednesday nights, for worship, fellowship, prayer and bible study/teaching/discussion.

Much of the life of the church is focused in the house churches, where members love and nurture one another's faith, support one another in prayer and with practical, everyday support, and build relationships that count for eternity.

Most house churches meet at
Wednesdays - some meet earlier for potluck meals. On the second Wednesday of each month, the house churches come together at the church building for an all-church corporate prayer meeting at Call or email the church for locations and times.


Missions

TCF Annual Missions Conference
Held annually in February, with a wide variety of speakers from a world missions perspective, TCF has hosted missions statesmen such as Loren Cunningham, Bill Bright, Brother Andrew, Don McCurry, Dudley Woodberry, Patrick Johnstone, Fred Markert, Ross Paterson, Alec Brooks, David Shibley and Georges Sada.

Global Missions
TCF's missions program includes about 20 singles or families on the field around the world. Each of these are members of the church. See the TCF missions page for more information

Local Outreach
Conducted through a variety of outreach programs (see community service and mercy ministries above), and through various church groups, including the youth (BASIC), which conducts an annual home missions week with outreach around the community.

Short-Term Trips
In 2001, TCF took a group of 27 to
Honduras to work with our long-term missionaries there, Dan and MaryLu Coventon, in San Pedro Sula. This was the second time TCF has teamed with Amor Viviente church there on a short-term mission. The 2001 team included youth group members, as well as TCF's puppet outreach team.

In years past, TCF has sent numerous short-term teams to Mexico. Also, each year, many TCF youth and adults travel internationally on short-term missions with a wide variety of agencies. In August, 2003, TCF sent a team to Honduras, and in 2004 several youth went to Mexico with Soul Team missions.

In 2006, the BASIC youth group traveled to Seattle to work with the YWAM base there, and in 2007, BASIC took a team to Cambodia.  In 2009, TCF is taking a team to Kenya.

Prayer Ministries

Monthly Corporate Prayer
A monthly corporate prayer meeting is held the second Wednesday of each month at the church, beginning at


Sunday Prayer
A weekly meeting in the designated "prayer room," in which participants pray for the morning service and other needs - Sundays at 9:00 a.m.

Missions Prayer Band
A weekly (Sunday,
) meeting devoted to prayer for TCF missionaries, the persecuted church, and other missions needs.

Women's Ministries

Fellowship
TCF's Women's Ministry meets several times a year for fellowship and special speakers, to share meals, and to share prayer.  Check the bulletin often for details of upcoming events.

Service
TCF's Women's Ministry conducts a special service project each year, ministering to an area outreach or ministry

Youth Ministries

BASIC Youth Group
BASIC (Brothers and Sisters in Christ) is a youth group open to ages 7th grade through High School. The group meets Sunday nights at
for worship, teaching and fellowship, and Wednesday nights for Bible study ().

Weekend Retreats & Special Events
TCF's BASIC youth group has weekend outings a few times a year, including the annual BASIC kickoff, a camping trip, an annual ski trip, and other opportunities for discipleship, worship and fellowship.

Outreach Ministry
BASIC has had a regular presence at a local public housing project, where the youth have conducted a variety of activities to relate to and minister to the children in this location. During the annual "home missions week", the youth visit a variety of children's homes, nursing homes and other venues to minister the love of Christ to the residents, and to stretch the youth beyond their "comfort zone" in ministry. Additionally, BASIC ministers to the homeless with special Friday night events.

Mission Trips
TCF youth joined the church's summer mission in August, 2001, to
Honduras. In the past the youth have been to New Orleans' French Quarter for evangelistic ministry. Several of the youth traveled to Mexico for two weeks in the summer of 2004 for a short-term missions outreach. The youth teaveled to Seattle in 2006 to work with a YWAM base there, and traveled to Cambodia in 2007.
